Don’t really know how to start this blog… but I know one thing for sure, I will do my very best to create something and make visitors enjoy my journeys! There is a saying “Picture is worth a thousand words” therefore my precious readers this document will be supported by pictures of places that I have visited!

Places I have visited

I am a person who is expending horizons by traveling but the opportunity to travel I got not so long ago.

As you might know we have had some troubles with traveling. The fact is that we (Serbs) were not on white Schengen list which applies prohibition of traveling abroad without Visa issued particularly for the country you are planning to visit. Even people who had good financial background had troubles with traveling- Visa was necessary!

This is like a beginning of a fairytale - once upon a time there was a country called Serbia…. But then the decision regarding putting Serbia on the White Schengen list was made and we were allowed to travel to any country that is a member of European Union just with our “red” passports! WoW!!! What a decision!! What a news!!! What a relief!!! That was my first reaction! A door of traveling opportunities has been opened just for me!!! The chance has been given and I have to take it! Opportunities to meet new people, to get to know their life, country, culture, religion, tradition, habits….Exactly what I wanted and needed for so long!

Probably the ones who never had problems with traveling before can not see the importance of decision that was effective from December 19^th 2010. But for us (Serbs) that was a huge step.

I have tried to explain how it have all started and why I want to write exactly about this subject – My Journeys!

Hungary

The first place abroad I have visited was Hungary, seven years ago! It was part of High School Excursion program. I liked Hungary, especially Budapest and all these bridges! Unfortunately I have no pictures from that period, at least not digital ones. Maybe one day I can scan some of them and show it to you, my dear visitors.

The second place I have been was Egypt in 2007. That is a place a have to write a lot of thing and show you a lot of pictures...

Denmark

Ah...finally we came to Denmark!! My favorite place, almost like a promised land! Most likely many of you wont understand why Denmark? To be honest I don’t know answer myself...

Maybe it have all started by me working for Danes, getting to know them...After working with this nation you really have wish to get to know their country, society...simply to be familiar with everything in their surrounding! Danes are open-minded people, always smiling, very friendly towards tourist from all over the world! They got my attention and I have promised myself I will visit Denmark as soon as I possible can…and I did it!! I choice to make a trip there during Christmas season! You wont believe how happy and excited I was when I booked my flight ticket! Here are some pictures from Tivoli, park in Copenhagen during beautiful Christmas season!

The beginning of undersea tunnel that connects Copenhagen(Capital of Denmark) with Swedish town Malmo. It is the longestroad and rail bridge in Europe.

Having in mind that you need approximately 10-15 min to get from Denmarkto Swedenmakes this channel very functional and the sight from the plane is not lessthan amazing

Army Officers School from Frederiksberg

Talking about Denmark I want to mention is Aarhus as my favorite city. Aarhusis the main and biggest city in the Jutland and second largest city in Denmark. Eventhough it is young town, Aarhus is also a city with clearly visible roots from the 8th century founded by the Vikings.
