Event binders have their own history

Event binders have their own history in event management industry. They go
way back before laptops and tablets were instituted and were the most
commonplace weaponry of event managers. These binders contained in them printed
documents and spreadsheets and detailed notes on each and every event. The
binders held an important significance and were considered to be the event
"bible" for that specific event. Managers would keep budget sheets, contact
lists, notes, timelines, proposals, quotes, guest lists, and even details of
seating arrangements. And because you would all your documentation and details
in this folder with all your reference material – Flushable
nonwoven wipes Manufacturers going sans it to any event related business
meeting was disastrous.

Although the market has been invaded by the convenience
brought by laptops and tablets, still one can see many a managers lugging one
big event binder with them. It can be quiet puzzling to see people still using
these binders with so many drawbacks instead of relying on better paperless
event binder alternatives available. Let us look at the top few reasons why
binders are dead: The topmost reason is that losing this event bible can shape
into an unmitigated disaster. There are innumerable details which event managers
need to track as every event has got its own elements of multifarious nature. Do
you think it is feasible to redo the hard work of months and recollect the
quotes and proposals, rebuild those analyses, rewrite those documents, contracts
revised and re-track each decision? This mammoth task is impossible and
especially so if you lose the binder days or weeks before the event. The
solution is safely store all the information on computers or use services of
online software for event management. Secondly, it can be time taking and
cumbersome to locate specific event details in a paper binder. There may be
hundreds and dozens of details present in those binders and sifting through each
and every one of those sheets to find one detail can be both frustrating and
embarrassing in front of the client specially. It is better to use computerized
automated process modules which make it all easier to access with streamlined
storage. Thirdly, it can be difficult to update information which is stored in
papers. Once you revise and get new detail, how do you update in a paper folder
by simply piling on sheets or crossing out old and writing new details? Or do
you constantly keep updating spreadsheets and keeping new printout in the
folder? The event keeps progressing and the data & information keeps
evolving.

It is better and easier to update this on event based software and
modification of information is easier. It is much easier to find, locate, alter
and modify electronic data. Fourthly, in this green revolution age, it is crime
to make extensive use of paper when an easy and better e-solution is readily
available. Maintaining an event binder requires collecting masses of paper and
updating and reprinting uses up more paper. Industries are making initiatives
and taking concrete steps to reduce their carbon footprint and reduce
destruction of trees. Event binders thus are a counter practice to conservation
of paper and harm the environment. Environmentally speaking, the practice of
using papers is detrimental to the concept of saving earth.
