Others have devised highly evolved

<dc:description><p>&quot;I take a bottle of noncarbonated water on theplanewater with bubbles gives me a
stomachacheand a spray bottle to spritzmy face every hour.&quot; Giselle Fernandez,
Emmy Awardwinning television reporter, co-hostof Access Hollywood: &quot; You have to
be streamlined and know what works,&quot; says Fernandez, who has covered hot spots
from Sarajevo to Somalia. She also carries her favorite shampoo and conditioner
(Matrix Biolage),and finds room for 20 lipsticks and five bottles of nail
polish: &quot;Ichange them with every outfit. Some take theminimum, relying on hotels
to furnish shampoo, conditioner, even fragrancesand sunscreen. &quot; And when I&#39;m
really stressed out I dissolve somesalt and baking soda in a bath and soak for
twenty minutes. Gels and mousses, she notes, are not only drying because of
their alcohol content, but &quot;they can leave your hair looking like a bird&#39;s
nest.&quot; Bonnie Pfeifer, founding director of DISHES, a pediatric AIDS charity:
Pfeifer&#39;s work entails countless television appearances, for which she packsonly
the essentials.April 10, 2009 Frequent travelers have gotten packing down to a
science, whether they&#39;redeciding what to wear or which beauty products to lug
along. Halle Berry, actress and Revlon spokesperson: On location, Berry is
religious about skin care: &quot;I focus on cleansing,exfoliating, and moisturizing.&quot;
She always packs products from (bigsurprise) Revlon. Others have devised highly
evolved, personalized on-the-roadregimens.&quot; Jean-Luc Negre, president, Baccarat
crystal:When he flies between his New York and Paris offices, Negre takes
&quot;alittle sleeping pill and a glass of champagne,&quot; and then turns a coldshoulder
to his seatmates. Kathleen Beckett has contributed to Vogue, Elle, and the New
York Times. </p><p>And she makes sure her hair is freshly shampooed butotherwise
untreated.&quot; He also swears by anythingfrom French aesthetician Anne S&eacute;monin,
whose products are used inthe Colomb-designed spas in Paris&#39;s Bristol hotel and
Germany&#39;s Brenner&#39;sPark-Hotel.&quot; Zang Toi, fashion designer: When he flies to his
native Malaysia twice a year, this New Yorker says,&quot;I like to flush myself with
Evian water and pop echinacea root andvitamin C to avoid catching any germs on
the plane.. Bonnie Tiburzi Caputo, one of the first female
commercial-airlinepilots: Tiburzi Caputo never takes off without a bottleof
water, some eye makeup, lipstick, and moisturizer (&quot;I pat it onevery hour&quot;). &quot;I
rub it onto my Souleiado foulard andit helps me breathe more easily on the
plane. &quot; One beauty item I carry everywhere is Revlon&#39;s SuperLustrous lipstick
because it adds color and protects against dryness&quot;dehydrationbeing one of the
dangers of plane travel. For her, the essentialsare washcloths and several cans
of hairspray, &quot;to keep things neateven in desert storms.&quot; She leaves powder eye
shadows and blushes behind, however, in favor of moistercream formulations.&quot; And
that&#39;s not all. We gathered tips from both camps.&quot; Michelle McGann, golfer: A
most fashion-conscious professional athlete, McGann stuffs unruly tressesunder
one of her trademark hats: &quot;I usually ship fifteen in a drumand carry a hatbox
with five more on the plane.&quot; Denis Colomb, interior designer: With houses in
Paris and New York, and work that takes him around the world,Colomb travels
constantly, and always with lavender oil from his boyhoodhome in the south of
France. I love the fact that no one can reach me whenI&#39;m on a flightit&#39;s very
restorative. I bring bananas andtry not to eat anything else. &quot;I once suggested
to the airlines that inaddition to the nonsmoking section they should have a
non-talking section&quot;aboon for anyone whose regimen relies on getting enough
beauty sleep.&quot; She also totes her own decaffeinated Earl Greytea bags and
Lubriderm lotion, the latter <a href="https://www.feihongalloys.com/product/copper-alloy-brazing-materials/tin-brass-cuzn40snsi.html">China
HS221 Suppliers</a> her double-duty fix: &quot;I useit as both a body moisturizer and
a makeup remover. Cathy Cash-Spellman, former Bloomingdale&#39;s and Revlon
executive, author of The Playground of the Gods: A big fan of cosmetics and
creams, Cash-Spellman travels with a dozen differentproducts, mostly from La
Prairie. Her trick to keeping the weight down:&quot;I save the
gift-with-purchase-size bottles and refill them.&quot; And whenever heand his wife,
photographer Erica Lennard, visit India, he stocks up on transparentfitkari
stones from a Jaipur barbershop, to stop the bleeding when he nickshimself
shaving. Colomb soaks in a bath with S&eacute;monin&#39;s seaweed bath gel:&quot;I inhale the
steam and it helps with jet lag</p></dc:description>

But for many of us gals

<dc:description><p>But for many of us gals (even preteens like me) the British
invasion was also very much about the &ldquo;supermodel&rdquo; of the decade. To look like
Twiggy, only 16 when she exploded on the international scene in 1966, we cut our
hair short and begged our parents to let us wear minis and eye makeup. And we
assessed our own lumps and bumps&mdash;Twiggy being the thinnest model we had ever
seen. In the early 1970s, Twiggy went on to become an actress and singer,
including winning two Golden Globe Awards for her first movie, The Boy Friend.
More recently, she&rsquo;s been a judge on America&rsquo;s Next Top Model, and launched her
own &ldquo;Twiggy London&rdquo; fashion collection on the Home Shopping Network. And now at
age 60, Twiggy gets her name attached to an elegant 450-passenger ship, the
newst member of the Yachts of Seabourn fleet. She&rsquo;ll smash the champagne bottle
on June 4, with the ship debuting in Greenwich, UK, on the River Thames. </p><p>The
next night, the Sojourn will host a fundraising gala for the Breast Cancer
Haven, a <a href="https://www.feihongalloys.com/">China brass wire
Manufacturers</a> charity that Twiggy supports, before heading off on its maiden
voyage (the ship spends the summer on Scandinavia, Russia and the Baltic
itineraries). In a prepared statement, Twiggy said she was &ldquo;incredibly excited&rdquo;
to serve as Godmother of the ship. Other cruise ship &quot;godmothers&quot;: Sophia Loren
is Godmother of four ships in the fleet of Italian line MSC Cruises.Actress Judi
